ARTIST’S STATEMENT
As an artist I find it hard to put my work into a category. It is not second nature for me to talk about my art, perhaps if it was, then I would write books, not paint pictures.
I am influenced by all things and paint images that reflect my environment. My paintings are an interpretation of the changes around me with the emphasis on design, structure and balance. I aim to connect these elements within the composition of my work. I love large canvasses and predominately paint with acrylics as they work well with my style.
